1. RE: Map Issues

Yeah, I've had the same problem since yesterday. In the meantime, I've given up trying to edit maps that I didn't originally create. (For some reason, my own maps are less buggy to open and edit.) I had to load the Mo Co map in Google Earth to see any of it.Google Maps does all the map stuff with some pretty complicated Javascript, and I often encounter script relics, bugs, and unresponsiveness. I usually close the tab and start Maps again with a fresh tab, but this technique hasn't worked with the problems described above. Maybe try another browser? Do you find this valuable? |

Trying another browser didn't work; but when I followed the link from the home page for this, that worked. Weird bug.

Your right. Clicking on the link from or mashup map directory worked for me, too.Maybe it needs to be refreshed? There are so many of these mapplets on my list that I can't get rid of no matter how many times I delete them (i.e. DCist subway). Do you find this valuable? |

Well ... I would say that interacting with some maps can be "buggy" at times. There have been a few instances where I began making a change, I made a mistake, and then all hell broke loose. Up to now, I just stopped the process and made sure that no changes were saved. I have a little time this afternoon to give it another stab.Do you find this valuable? |

Yeah, the drawing on Google isn't ideal at all. Today I tried drawing some routes in the burbs after a long absence, and I can't figure out how to continue (add to, pick up, extend) a previously drawn route. It used to be an option when you clicked (or right clicked?) on the terminal of a polyline.
